The OHCHR (UN Office of the High-Commissioner for Human Rights) Nepal Conflict Report has become public! It is a report on serious violations of International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law by both parties of the conflict during the ten-and-half year conflict in Nepal.
I was in the team of drafting the report, and wrote two chapters that are in the report.
Sincerely hope that Nepal will use the report in its transitional justice initiatives and make proper reparations to the victims, as well as make firn steps to prevent the recurrence of violence in the country.
